For a Danish election campaign with 3F (Fagligt Fælles Forbund), one of Denmark's largest trade unions, Community Agency asked me to develop this mobile-first campaign site.
The concept flips the abstract into the visceral: instead of showing you a retirement age, it translates your remaining working life into something you can actually feel — Mondays left to survive, cups of coffee consumed on the job, hours of physical labour ahead. The goal was to make it undeniably clear that an extra year on the labour market isn't just a number on a policy paper. For 3F's members — construction workers, cleaners, drivers — it's a year of hard, physical work. And many don't make it to retirement age at all.
I was responsible for the full technical implementation: a custom retirement age algorithm accounting for historical actuarial data across all age groups, and Lottie animations (SVG exported from After Effects) delivering fluid, performant motion on mobile. To handle the complexity of the historical datasets within the campaign timeline, I leveraged AI-assisted development — ensuring the algorithm remained accurate regardless of a user's age or background.
The site drew tens of thousands of visits and achieved notably high engagement.
